So this would not be effective on stock boost? Methanol? Is that safe to spray into your intake?

 

Water/Methanol injection's real plus is that it reduces heat therefore reducing chances of knock. This means that you could run more boost safely. I don't think their claim of 20hp is valid in real world scenarios.

 

Actually this would work and be worth a lot more than 20hp but you need to take side two of a chip for instance and lean it out and advance the timing and the water/methanol would keep you from detonating.... it's not rocket science.
This is how they got the 100hp out of the blown 5.0.
