I have all of my lights converted on my 99' L to the 01'-02' style, accept for the fog lights, it looks bad.......

I want to change them out and put the newer style in, for looks only. I know they crack......

Has anyone been successful in doing this? Pictures would be great!

You will need a 2001-2002 front bumper cover, 1999-2000 have a bolt/nut that holds the lights in correct? 2001-2002 just snap in place, different set up with the new ones, plus the Plugs are different (and need to be a little bit longer as I found out on a friends I helped swap on)

 

Ive seen it done with NO new cover in my area and is no big deal

 

Heh, I'll sell you my beat-up old bumper cover when I get my new one... complete with deep gouge and bright blue paint from the other car

 

Have somebody with an 01/02 when they have a light out to work on. Make you a template and modify your bumper cover with a dremill tool. Just a thought!! I wish someone would make a good replacement!!!
