Question Shaker hood questionaire.

For the guys that have the Pro-Glass hoods how do you like them ??? Are you happy with the quality, fit, finish & looks ???

I'd just like to get some feedback from other owners. M'kay !!!

I dont have a shaker as you know but i was interested in getting one only thing that im not liking about the hood is that the shaker itself ,the scoop, doesnt come out of the hood that much. I really like how the mach 1 mustang's shaker comes out like these pics i posted. Anyway to get the shaker to come out more??

Heres one view.

Heres another.

Vin,

The Pro-Glass Shaker hoods are very much adjustable. You can raise or lower them by over an inch if you so choose. I like my shaker "hat" opening to be flush with the hood, I don't like it sticking out too much. But this is why they're adjustable. You can set the height to whatever YOU like. Check out VINNIE's hood if you get a chance. They look much better in person and you get a better appreciation for the craftsmanship.

Thumbs up

Rob
Thanks for the info on the shaker. I saw Vinnie's hood in person at the last SVTOA meet. I really liked it great quality to. But i would have to think of a paint scheme if i got that hood because all black just doesnt work on a black truck.

I've got a Silver L and have had my shaker hood sitting in the garage for about a month now waiting for me to find a good paint place and figure out the best color scheme for it,,, i'm in no big hurry with it as I'm actually not even sure I want to keep it, I've been waiting for someone to make some sort of SS style hood of good quality and build for quite some time, although i love the shaker, its a tough decision to make damnit!!

Silver L for those who are wondering

Wink You want honesty........

I love the thing. I get loads of compliments on it and the way it dresses up the "plain jane" stock hood look.

However I have 1 gripe.......and maybe this is just me being too greedy. As you can see from my pics I have my shaker sticking up out of the hood a little bit. Well when I get on it hard (like at the track) it rubs on the passenger side front corner of the hood. I am probably going to get a torque strap for the total solution. Since I am just a tad picky with mine I must admit that patients are a virtue when it comes to adjusting the shaker to be centered and level
