hey soap i have the same problem with mine hitting that front pass side corner, also one other saftey issue is that if you lower the shaker to much the throttle linkage will get caught on the bottom off the shaker, check for clearence, after installing my hood i was gassing it to watch the shaker shake and the linkage got caught held the throttle wide open just glad it happened in my driveway!!!and not on the highway

I just bought a shaker hood at WFC5 and have yet to install it. I look forward to the day that it graces my truck with its presence.

SVTRobG - It was nice meeting and talking to you in St. Louis. I am the big tall guy in the yellow shirt that was bugging you on Sunday when you were getting that white paint stuff off of the Hootermobile. Seeing your expy console has given my the push to do mine when I get more money.

I'll post pics when I get my hood on. I need to change my sig anyway.....the snow left a week ago.......................

DANG IT!! I posted under the wrong name.

Anyone have pricing and a phone number / website for Pro Glass?

Nevermind, I found the website and gave them a call. Priced me at $795 + $75 for shipping. Also they are about 2-3 weeks backed up on hood orders.

Anyone know where else to get one?

svt360,

I'm not quite sure how you got that bottom piece so low that it interferes with the throttle linkage, the only thing that comes to mind is that you might be missing the spacers. At it's lowest setting I still have 1/2" clearence.

To the other fellers, I suggest a small piece of foam tape ( 3/8" wide ) on the hood side. This will be hard to see but will save the paint on the shaker & hood when you go full throttle. It's the price you pay for having a **** load of torque
