What the Roush springs drop looks like...
The kit is rated at 3/3.5" for a regular F150, but that means 2" for a Lightning.
I can't say how the springs would handle by themselves, I did a 3--2-1 punch for my suspension upgrade.
Roush springs : ~485
Hotchkis Sways: ~535
HAL QA1 Shocks:~680
(I also have truck-traks and a panhard-bar)
The truck handles like a DREAM...fantastic...the body roll is minimal, no unpredictability over rough surfaces, minimal wiggling...
I can't wait to race it next weekend. (SCCA Solo2 event)

Looks great and I'm glad you like the way it handles! Now, all you need to do is fine tune the tire pressures. I was able to dial in the shocks quickly but the tires took time. Are you running the stock pads still?

I'm currently running NAPA Cermix, but they're just about past the half-way point on being worn-out. The Hawk's should be here tomorrow or wednesday according to the place that I ordered them from.
So far, I'm running 40psi the tires... I think I may stiffen up the back a little, I'm still running it a 4, I'm goign to try 6 and see how I like it. What pressures you currently running at?

Try 34 to 36 psi on the street (cold-without sun on them). When you get your pads on, test (in a safe area with lots of runout) straight line braking and turn-in. If you're carrying good speed, you'll get an idea (REAL QUICK) whether or not you have corner entry oversteer or understeer. BTW, don't try trailbraking. After a couple turns, you'll have a better idea of what adjustments you need to make to tire pressures. Adjust the rear only in 2 psi increments (up or down) and the change will be dramatic (you'll be surprised how much 2 psi will affect handling).
I run my shocks (street) at 9 front, 6 rear. I only change the front for the track and leave the rear at 6. You can try 5 or 6, but I wouldn't go any higher.
I've talked with several people now who have run the NAPA ceramix pads and they wear very quickly.

Ive discovered that.
(Cermix wear quick). They're made by Raybestos....
My rear stock pads are finally going (36k mi), and my Ceramix are going with them too... I only got ~12k-ish miles of the Ceramix compared to the 24k I got of stock pads with much the same style of driving time.
I'll try playing around with the pressures... I didn't think that on street tires there would be a large effect, then again, I've never quite run "street" tires as good as these on any previous vehicle I've owned, lol.

My truck was level before the install (heavy *** bedlid I guess?) and showed 18.5" (or there abouts) all the way around. After the springs settled, I'm showing about 16.5" all the way around...
