What did I do wrong?
Well, after much toil, I found that Zaino isn't as easy to apply/remove than they'd have you believe... but after letting it dry for about 16 hours, and wiping it down, there was still some sort of residue on it. I sprayed it with some water, and wiped it down again, and it looks pretty good. Just removed the 2nd coat of Z5, but I can't look for streaks, because the sun was down. Will probably need to wipe it with a wet towel again.
I didn't know my reflection could show up so well on a truck. The first coat didn't seem to do a thing for the swirl marks, though.
Somehow, my truck managed to come from the dealer with swirls all over the hood. Bah.

You really don't need to let it dry that long...in the Florida sun I can put it on and wipe if off in 5 min.
I also found out to NEVER let it sit overnight because during the night the air cools and condenses leaving a wet film on the truck and making it impossible to get off. Also be sure to always use a clean side of the towel. And don't use too much!
I have been using Zaino but i ordered some Cherry Wet Wax to test it out...might switch if it is easier and as shiny.
Good luck on your truck
