What did I do wrong?
I did everything right. I dawned my truck. I clayed my truck. I washed it in Zaino wash. I covered it in Z1 and then Z5.
I let it dry for 8, EIGHT hours.
I get my nice new white towel to wipe it off, and it doesn't just wipe off like it's supposed to. So I wipe a little harder, and it starts to come off...
BUT there's this greasy film that will NOT come off. It looks terrible...
What am I doing wrong? I don't understand. Did I get a bad batch of the stuff? Anyone know what could have possibly happened?

Did you follow the instructions to the letter? Not
trying to imply anything, just that when you use too much
of ANY of these Zaino products you end up with a coating
that cannot dry ...
Less is more in other words ... I had a friend do my
hood and he showed me how very little it took ... So
I kinda had a leg up on the process.
Hope ya figure it out ... It truly is a great product.

did you let the Z1 dry like 4-8 hours before you put on the z5 ?
If not you need to put on z1 let it dry then put on the z2 or z5 before you wipe off the z1. But the z1 needs to be dry before you put on the next coat. Otherwise it takes FOREVER for it to dry.
If you put the z2 or z5 directly on the z1 my advice would be to wipe the truck down let it dry for another 1-2 hours wipe it down and repeat till its clean and then start over.
If this does not work I would call or email the guy from the products email page I forget his name but when I was using his products he always gave great support and if you email him your phone number he will call you on his dime.
It has been a while sence I used it so my z2-z5 might be the wrong numbers

you DO NOT let Z1 dry before putting Z2/Z5 on top of it.
Z1 is applied then immediately after you put your next step on. The start of the Zaino process is really dependant on the weather outdoors.....especially after claying and getting right down to the paint, if the weather is not perfect it can sometimes take forever to dry.
I've been using Zaino for 4 years, and have done more vehicles then I care to remember......

this shows the tips on how to use
STEP ONE:
Make sure vehicle is clean. Apply a thin coat of Zaino Bros' Z-1 Polish Lok™ Pre-Cleaner and Gloss Conditioner in a circular motion, using a 100% cotton towel or applicator. No rubbing is necessary. Entire vehicle may be done at one time. Let haze, DO NOT REMOVE Polish Lok!
So it does say let it haze <---- Or dry
but I guess it may not take 4-8 hours

Thats just to much...
I just use Meguires liquid carnuba wax after a wash. All done in about an hour. Gotta try the polish next time. May not come out as good as Zaino but I'm
with it.
Nothing against Zaino, it's just to much (not $$$). I'd rather give up an hour or two every month then spend a whole day going through the zaino process.

). Great product! It lasts well too.
Here's some pics. They're not great one's. The sun was so bright I couldn't find a shot with no glare. They give a good idea of the shine. Only one coat for now. Another next week.
