No screws. I marked the valve stem with a paint stick and they have not moved yet

I spun my 28 x 10 x 16 Hoosiers the second time I ran them and had to screw them. Although I have tubes in them, I was only
running 12# of air as this is where they were hooking best.
It's not a had process to achieve. Just make sure you drill a large
enough hole through the rim so the screw bites into the tire bead and not the rim.

I have been to the track twice with my ET Streets and both times my wheels turned inside the tire.......I am seriously considering screws.

I ran MTETS for two years on 8" rims and never had much problem with them spinning on the rims and I ran withou tubes. Sometimes the tires will move until they seat against the rims. May take 4 or 5 trips to the track.

I am currently running the Hoosiers and the first time they moved about 1" per run. After 5-6 trips to the track they are moving less than 1" per event which is usually 6-8 passes. No tubes in these either.

I recommend not running the tubes in the MTs as they strengthen the sidewall and cutdown on the "wrinkle effect" which decreases traction. The only cure then is to do what MC above did. Really lower airpressure and screw the tires. I ran my Mts at 18-20. Lower than 16 and they do move on the rims but we found the best times at 18-20 on trucks with minor mods like chip, filter, and pulleys.

I really did't want to hear the word movement

Thanks for the info. I have the screws it's just hard for me to drill my wheels. (expensive, and good looking) I asked Bogart to drill them before they sent them, they said no we would rather have you scratch them. Well since some of you have had movement I'm going to screw then today.I have Goodyear natural rubber tubes and I don't want to rip the valve stems out 57.00 ea. Thanks again for the info. Ed

Screws are added insurance!!
It is a part when installed you do not see results, but if not installed and track conditions are good you could turn the tires on the rims leading to numerous problems.
They are cheap and can be installed in a few hours.
Be safe and KEEP ON RACING!!!!
