um.....just because something has been in business or has been produced for years does not NECESSARILY make it a quality product.............*COUGH *COUGH....... CHEVROLET CAMARO
Jason, not to start a war, but the u-bolts that I use are thread rolled from bar stock. They are then bent and cad plated.
Thats what I said. You also degrade the integrity of material when you bent it. I've been in the fastener buisness for many years. I know the differences in materials.
Just, give me another reason why I should buy Truck-Tracs other than the bolts wont hold up, because they will.
00FireRide: I've had my share of problems with my L as well, but I still love it and will defend it.

I have the Truck-Traks on my L and they are great on the street and if you do not change your rear shocks are great on the track. I have changed the rear shocks to the QA1 adjustable. If I loosten the shocks the bars slap the leaf spring (at launch) and hop the truck. Also tried putting the spacers in to stop the hop. With the spacers in it will not hop but does not let the truck squat and then it scates down the track, also losing traction on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. When more space is put in between the snubber and leaf spring and the shocks are tightned up the Truck-Traks work just fine but I do not get the benifet of the adjustable shocks.
I am selling these (if anyone is interested contact me @ Tommylightning@extremesvt.com ) Will be going with JLP's Rancho style bars.
