rons KC really pothole capitol?

Originally from KC. Lived both on Plaza and Overland Park. Roads used to be well maintained. Parks, etc were always well maintained. Sounds like city is slipping, maybe? Pappy will love the L-- I know this old guy does! Only thing that compares is when I get in Supra.

Yep, pothole city. Actually, the Kansas Side is excellent. You'd be hard pressed to find a pothole, especially in OP. However, Missouri consistently rates 49th or 50th in the nation in road conditions, and KC is on the bottom end of conditions in the state of Missouri. Bridges falling apart, patch over patch over patch, and the Plaza roads have been torn to shreds by telcos running underground cables. Meanwhile KC city hall is more worried about spending millions of the taxpayers money on the stadiums, to hell with basic city services. Fortunately, I live in Prairie Village, and we get something for our tax dollars.

rons, thanks for replying

Really sad to hear. Don't mean to sound racist, but is KCMO gov run by black politicians? I've travelled to a number of cities where this is true with city conditions and suburbs as you described. Including Atlanta,Ga.. Cobb county where I live is well maintained just like Johnson Cty.
