I, too, am a fan of the water blade...it works wonders on my SnugLid.

For interior stuff that gets "ArmorAlled," have any of y'all tried those Turtle Wax wipes that come in a dispensing canister? My squaw helped me wash my truck last week and kept going on and on about some interior "wipes" that she had, so I figured I'd check 'em out. Sure enough, they go on very easy and shine like hell! Plus, they're not nearly as greasy as ArmorAll. I even used the wipes on the plastic parts outside and they're all still shining after a few days on the road and in the sun.

...And by random chance, she had some ArmorAll glass cleaning wipes in the same kind of canister (blue label). She started playing around with them on the wax that had built up around the edges of all of my trim; with minimal effort, a year's worth of wax came right off. She's definitely earning her keep...maybe I'll keep this one.

is a water blade similar to what the people on the street corners try to wash your windows with??? What is this Zaino stuff and is it really worth taking 2 days to put it on your L??

Cgarr-

The water blade is made out of a different material; I think it is like surgical grade silcone. Softer on your finish than dragging a chamois on it. also, chamois get dirty and that discoloration you get is dirt which is abrasive to your finish.

Is zaino worth it? What color truck; what color climate and how often do you want to detail?

I've used zaino for a year on my Black L and it does not give as deep of a shine or that wet look that a carnuba wax does but it holds up great. I think zaino looks better on lighter finishes for a number of reasons but that is a whole other conversation that I don't have time for tonight. Besides I don't want to get into wax wars the sequal to tuner wars.
