Thumbs up

Looks sweet Red01 did you polish it yourself? I polished mine but don't have an engine to put it on. For anyone looking at doing this themselves it is a lot of work with the stripping being the easy part.

I will end up with a polished kb blower someday and this time i will have some experience

Powder Coating

What do y'all think about having it powder coated the same color as the paint?

I sell manufacturing software and recently demo'd to a company that makes powder coating and it looks pretty cool.

Has anyone done it?

For anyone that wanted to know why there is a portion of the blower that is not polished is because the polisher that completed this work and all of mine is a total *****king idiot. I wouldent reccomend him to polish your **** on a rainy day

Rich -

You sure as heck want something that is very stable. A carnuba wax is out cuz it'll melt at pretty low temps. Also alot of those waxes have a bunch of petroleum-based products which I'm not a fan of on metal.

You want a polymer - based product for that blower. Zaino, Zymol and I'm not sure if one of your favorites liquid glass is a polymer or carnuba based.

I have spent a ton of time and money researching paints, polishes, waxes, etc. I've got all the premium brands and then some on my shelf. Send me an e-mail if you want more info on how waxes or polishes reflect light vs. refract it. Since you do so much for the community I would be happy to share my thoughts and findings with you.
