"service engine soon" light came on...help!!!
As the subject says, this light came on. I'm guessing it's because of the mods I just did, but maybe someone can shed some light on the subject. I just installed (on my 2000 L) a 90mm mass air, JDM cold air kit, and an SVO throttle body. I do not have a chip yet (as it is in the mail to PSP as we speak) and I'm just wondering how to cure the problem. Disconnecting the battery works for a short period of time, but then it comes back on. The truck still seems to run fine, but this #*&#%&* light keeps coming on. Thanks in advance for any help.

that was a quick response! Thanks for your help today and over the past few weeks. By the way, are you 100% positive that is what it is, not that I'm doubting you, but I have heard that it could be so many things? Regardless, you've been a big help!

lihtning,
Yank off the 90mm and air filter and put your stock airbox back on (should take about 5 minutes to do) and drive around for a while. I can guarantee that the SES light does not come on.
