RiddlerGT, If you through your illegal actions crash, cause a crash or fataility the "insurance companies" look to ALL of use to recover their losses through rate hikes. This would be especially true of Lightining Owners.

We all have much to lose collectivily. This in addition to a "punching bag" that all can flame by way of postings. Yes we would likily miss the action you have provided here @ F1500nline with the thread you started.

 

Well I was not going to post back on here but I guess I will....

I love to race...

I do street race.... BUT it is done late at night on open roads where no other cars are. I do not to ROAD RACING, I do drag racing on the street, only a 1/4 mile. Usually I do it when some keeps talking enough trash to REALLY **** me off. I do not think street racing is a good thing and should not be promoted, But there are times when things have to be settled when a track is not open.....

Where in S.J. are you located??? I would be interested in racing you. Do you race for money? We can find someplace safe to race where we won't hurt anyone or get arrested.

granted, riddler is an idiot, trying to race on a crowded high way above 70 mph. but yes, i have done a few street races, but i stop before 60, and never ever ever ever in a crowded area. perhaps ill get flamed, but all that is is just getting to the speed limit, just faster.

Total Jerkoff. People like YOU are the reason why OUR insurence rates are so high. When you broadside someone at 120mph and kill them did you make there decision ? Where you granted that right to do so ? I must say I meet some stupid people everyday and i meet some a**holes everyday but you pal take the cake. Now excuse me I have to call my tuner and see if my trucks off the dyno so I can take it to the track and " see what it can do "

What do you guys feel about the occasional highway blast when noones around? I read about lots of you guys talking about testing modifications after installing them, and I can't help to think that all of you guys were driving totally legally while "testing" it out. I don't condone streetracing, but I do like to mash the gas pedal occasionaly on the highway if noone is around, and in fact there is a particular section I like which is nice and straight, and makes it impossible for a cop to set up a speed trap right there.


Racing someone else, on the otherhand, I feel is different IMHO. I don't support street racing, unless there is nobody around and you have seriously pissed me off. I generally also like to race on the highway onramps, which like said earlier, is just a matter of getting to the speed limit quicker. I will never accept a race, if there is any hint of civilization around as I could never live with myself if I killed an innocent person. Some of you guys deny ever street racing, and some of your are telling the truth, but some of you are probably not being very truthful. We have all done stupid things in life, and I gave up dangerous Fast and Furious crap about 2 years ago after a close call(the C5 vette wasn't so lucky).

 

HAHA yes your correct i am the cause of the high insurance?? I slid into the back of a truck at 5mph in the snow in Lake tahoe thats the only accident i have been in. Im so sure it has affected your rates??? i dont understand what you are saying that me driving fast and racing causes you high insurance? Do you think that all i do is jump on the freeway and race everything i come apon? give me a break i have more common sense then that i dont race in traffic and when i did come apon this race it was late at night on an open freeway. Me trying to race someone on an open freeway late at night has gone to, Killing countless people and spiking insurance rates? GIVE ME A BREAK oh yes i do go to the track as much as possible also infact i was there yesturday! as you say "see what it can do"
