Tried to Race another Lightning

On the freeway today going to SJ california, i spot a red lightning with what looked like 20s a red one, slow down to her and try to race like 4 times, and she just keeps driving 70mph, I didint know these trucks went that slow! I hate it when people have fast cars and just go, yeah i have this and it supposedly runs this in teh 1/4 mile but i have never been to the track!

the person in the L could have liabilty worries, precious cargo, or cannot afford any speeding tickets. What point does it serve to race vehicles, none in that persons mind. If I were on the street, I would't race anyone, leave that for the track.

most people that try to challenge me to a race I often will either look at them and just tell them that they are not worth the fuel.. or I give them a tumbs up bc i know they would rock my world. After I got a ticket for 110 I've been more cautious and wiser. I suggest you do the same. Dont take me for an old guy either. I'm only 20

Ok then , let me see this I had street raced since I was able to drive at 16 , I am now 34. I have seen it all out on the streets, including the blue lights and the black limo. all I can say is I do not do much of it anymore. I enjoy my ride. And as you stated "I'm a street racer" Well as far as I am concerned street racing in my days was a dead stop 1/4 mile , same as the track. you get nothing from racing anyone from a 70 mph kick. yes there is a certain allure and charge to street racing , but it is not for the inexperienced.

Until you lose your life instead next time huh Riddler. Check out the link I have attached. This is what possibly happens when you street race. But I will forwarn anyone that clicks on this link to have a strong stomach. IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH DON'T EVEN SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE PICUTRES! This will probably get deleted anyway.

Good post Chipper, guys like RiddlerGT need to SEE what comes from their form of play.

He also needs to know that it is one thing for them to risk their own life, stop light to stop light and street racing from on a marked 1/4 mile course is bad enough. But running in traffic puts every other person on the street at risk of ending up like this. I check my mirriors when changing lanes, many don't and running up on someone at 100+ doesn't give either driver a chance to correct.

What RiddlerGT was doing is DEAD wrong and the other L driver didn't want any part of it, simple as that.

My God!! If that don't make you think, what would? I've been at crash scenes similar to that and the quiet is amazing. Everyone just whispers like the dead can hear them or something.

Good post, Chipper.

That Ferrari accident... 280km/h is way faster then our trucks can go for the most part.

That's true Pawn. But don't think that can't happen at 140 which a Bolt CAN do. 280klms equates to somewhere around 170ish.

Scrabled Ferrari's anyone?......... Not gross but it still hurts to see......

I usually don't race on the street if (a) there are other vehicles/pedestrians in the vicinity, or (b) it would be a waste of gas.

I wonder what she was thinking?
