New JDM Throttle Body

I just got mine today along with his electric fan, water pump, pistons, and ARP fasteners. Does anyone know who is making this new TB? It is not a BaBolt TB. It is incredably polished almost like chrome and is saposed to out flow the BaBolt TB.

Read the throttle plate it says who makes it, but it is made to Jims own specs. The company makes there own, but there's is much rounder.

The new throttle body flows more air than BA Bolts throttle body.

It is a sweet piece

There is nothing engraved on the TB or throttle plate. I like it alot though I was just curious.

Last time I spoke to Jim, he was using BaBolts TB's. Isn't this still true?

I have no idea when I ordered the TB last week I asked about the BA Bolt TB and it sounded like they were no longer selling it. The new TB is slightly cheaper but has no engraving on it.

Accufab IS the manufacturer of the throttle body. It will need a Lightning Arm welded to it. to fit the trucks.

JDM's new throttle body can be used on a Cobra or Lightning, you can switch arms in about a minute. I picked one up for a Cobra buddy and Jims switched the arm in one minute. That shows Jims attention to the little details.

Thanks Jay I checked out their web site and the oval TB they have for the new Cobra locks just like the one from JDM. The Accufab is only 350 bucks but the bore is smaller across than the one from JDM.

Supply vs. Demand

I think Jim was selling more TBs Then he could get from Mike(BaBolt).
Like Don said, Jim is always thinking to make sure we get the best.

Cool

The AccuFab is a pretty unit and that is a great price too. As for flow I do not know what the AccuFab flows and I choose long ago not to share my data just like what Ford did with the SVO unit. As for building my throttle bodies they have always been on a demand basis. I do not build and hold inventory. Again I think that the unit that John builds is a nice looking piece and I have always liked his items and use many of them too.

I'm also glad I got a BaBolt T/B, As Dan stated, an "Original".

The finish and quality was excellent.
