Thulsadoom- I'm using a PSP pulley, and I'm ordering a PSP 4-way chip.

Thumbs up

QuickSilver02,

Let me know how the chip works out. That's what I was thinking of going with. A little tight on the mula, since Uncle Sam and California both want some of my HARD earned cash!! Is the pulley worth the cash. I don't want to spend that much money, and then wish I had gotten the 4#. If I am going to have to get a chip and plugs anyways, shouldn't I just go with the 4#? I have a feeling that traction will be next to nil with the 4#. I want good power but don't want to spring for the traction bars(yet). How is the truck with the 2# only? And why are you replying so fast? Are you a victim of boring-jobicide?

thinking about the little Dooms
Fear the clan of Doom!!..or something

on a serious note, you should be able to run the 2# without a chip. Plug change is a good idea anyway.

Should have known good ole Speedin Bob would be picking on the unborn kids. So, how are things with you? I am about 80% sure that I will get deployed to the Philipines this year. Kind of scary, my ETS is 19 July 02, but there is a stop loss on my MOS because of this friggin war. I was thinking of re-enlisting anyways, but General Doom (pronounced wife) has other plans. Damn military, you have to love it!

Thulsadoom - No, I still have a job ....just a bit slow here today. The pulley definitely made a difference, and it was easy to install. The boost jumps up to 5-6 lbs. on the Autometer immediately when I stab the throttle, and I've seen it climb to around 10lbs. This is with no airbox mods, just a K&N filter. I think it'd get another pound of boost if I got an intake. I'm a bit hesitant to go any higher than 2lb. on stock rods. I'm planning on building up a new motor by the end of the year, then adding more boost. I would say to go with the 4lb. if you're comfortable with it. I just don't want to blow my motor and be without my truck while I build up a new one. The truck will definitely smoke 'em off the line with just the 2lb., but it's not out of hand. My JDM/Rancho bars should be here by the end of the week to take care of that problem though .

I would get a chip tuned for the pulley. Our gas out here sucks and I'd hate for you to get a particularly bad tank and blow something up.

Oh yeah, and either way, swap plugs.
