Please Help

I bought a flip chip, boost by pass, cool air induction kit, line mod valve, and oil breather cap. I haven't installed the line mod valve yet, but anyways after about 600 miles my service engine soon light came on. I turned the truck off, took the key out of the egnition and flip the switch to the track program side and the light turned off when I turned the truck on. So I tried flippin it back and back comes on the light Has anyone else had this happin to them and how do I fix it.

try resetting the pcm by taking the battery cable off and leave it off for 10 mins and see what happens.

I would not drive around on the track side of your chip for extended periods either

Did the SES Light come on while you were idling or while you were stuck in traffic?

You may want to take the breather cap off and put the stock cap back.

The tuner may have not, or forgot to program it for the breather.

It happend while I was stuck in traffic.........or waiting in line at steak n shake. Its all JDM products and I bought them this weekend at FFW. Jim burned the chip right there and his partner installed everything.....except the line mod. He gave me a great deal to, what a nice group of people.

I bet in the crazyness off FFW Jim forgot to put the code for the breather into the chips program. Try disconecting the Battery and take off the breather, I bet you will be all set.

If he forgott to program for the breather, when you are in traffic or at idle is when the Light will come on. Jims stuff is all great, give him a call in the morning, I am sure he will take good care of you.

It is nothing to worry about.

Well the battery trick worked, but is that only temporary if the chip was burned with out the oil breather. Also when I turn the truck on it idles really low like its going to stall for about half a second and then goes normal.
