On board Test program

Well I have a 2000 Lightning and most of you know that you can do that test program by turning the truck off and holding the odometer reset button down, then turning the truck to run, and holding it down till it reads test. Then you can flip through and read all the computer stuff. Well anyways I was at FUEL reading and was wondering what that means. I got 4 Lightnings to tell me their readings and they were all different. These readings were all While you were in PARK with the car running. the four readings were 92, 123, 190, 181. Well if anyh of you guys can tell us what this means and what good numbers are then thanks. Also the 181 and 190 were 2001 and the other two were 2000. Also if your fuel pump was to go out then would your check ENgine Light come on, would you be able to tell, and how could you tell?
Thanks and sorry for the long post

the FUEL reading is how much fuel you have in the tank in hexidecimal code.. i think thats what it is called.

if the fuel pump goes out, you'll prolly get a check engine light.. plus your truck wouldn't run..

hope this helps.

yea, and dont forget that the DTCs , or "codes" that it gives are for the instrument cluster ONLY. Working at a ford dealership, i have someone come in every so often telling me that their check engine light is on, but the only "code" in the truck is a oil pressure code, lol.
