OD On or Off?

Since it was in the 50's today I took her out of storage and tooled around town! I experimented with the OD off and on and I see a huge difference in performance with the OD off! When I first got her I was driving around all the time with the OD on, but from now on I will drive her with the OD off because she seemed so much more responsive with the OD off! What is your guys take on this? Some sucker in a Vet tried to play games on a nice open stretch of road and with the OD off, he couldnt even hang. The engine shifted better and was able to keep her at higher RPM's for a longer period of time!

OD Button

With the OD "on", your truck shifts into a 4th gear which has a ratio of .07 to 1 for highway driving and improved fuel economy. With the OD "off", your truck only goes into 3rd gear which is a 1 to 1 ratio. Higher RPM's and quicker throttle responce, but less fuel economy.

with it on or off, nothing in the lower gears is affected. The PCM strategy at wide open throttle doesnt take the tcs switch mode into consideration until the speed in 3rd gear is reached that it would normally go into OD.
