Most of my 11's were done with: JL Diablo chip, JL ram air, JL 5 or 6# lower pulley. 28" slicks, PI converter, LPP/JL longtube headers, 1.5# LFP upper pulley, electric fan, cobraR water pump, traction bars. Front sway bar, spare tire and hitch removed.

some L's can run 11's all day without throwing a rod. however production engines vary, so like forrest gump's mom used to say: modifying a L is like a box of chocolates, you never no what y'gonna get !

Some people may disagree, but I do not think it is that hard at all. You just need $$$, which has already been discussed. I would go with:

-JDM program (since you already have a Superchip)
-Air filter kit with either Pro-M or 90 mm MAF conversion
-At least a 4 lb lower pulley, but bigger is better
-Torque Converter (JDM or JL)
-Long tube headers with high flow cats and muffler
-Slicks
-Remove some weight (hitch, front sway bar, spare)

This is considering you do not go with nitrous. Also, if you plan to drive it very much, be very sure to have your A/F ratio in the safe range. If you have lots of $$$, upgrade your rods and pistons.

Just my .02

Has anyone got in the 11's with just those few mods? I don't recall reading or hearing about it.
