Since I will definately be running the new drag slick, anyone
interested in a good set of M/T E/T Streets 26 x 11.5 x 16
cheap? Tires only, no rims.

Hoosier answered my e mail. Looks like I'll be going with the 29.5' x10.5x15 (#18215) that I can buy from JDM.

Anyone interested in a set of 28x11x15 Goodyear Slicks?

Jim

I know that most people just swap these tires on at the drag strip. But I am having so much traction problems, what if I used these for everyday tires? I realize they will probably only last 15,000 miles or so, but what other draw backs are there? I would assume they are not good in the rain.

you will not get 15,000 miles out of a slick or street slick (et street).

the street type slicks still have very little tread, enough to be considered d.o.t. and that is usually gone pretty quick.

you do not want to be caught in the rain in either one of these tires.

as far as the driveshaft requirement for full slicks.

a DS loop takes about 10 minutes to install, i have sal's and it was a piece of cake, and i am less than mechanically inclined

Marc, If your deal with Tommy doesn't work out I would be interested in the M/Ts. E-mail me jlo@tdi.net. Thanks, Jim
