I don't care how young and strong--oh, don't forget 'quick'(remember he scoffed at my 4.5 hour plug change)--he is; the question is, is he a man of his word or just a faint bleating(not unlike a sheep ) in the wind?

Best personal regards,

Dan
OK, I just woke up from my afternoon nap from where I got tired of playing with my Lego's after watching Barney the Dinosaur...

You know Dan, at your age, you shouldn't take on a task that takes more than a couple hours, you know, with your memeory and all you might just forget what the heck you started out doing! I'm still a little peeved about having to work this weekend. I guess you'll have to come-up and run me at the local track sometime soon. I know you'll run better times than at that po-dunk-strip of asphalt they call a track down your way. I still find it funny that people race their "farm tractors" against you. How much of a "break" do they give you at the tree?

Hope you guys have great weather. I'll definetly be thinking about you guys will I'm just standing around watching people work.

Oh, in case you "forgot",we were talking about the funniest thread. Oh, in case you forgot, we were talking about the funniest thread. Oh, in case you forgot, we were talking about the funniest thread. Oh, in case you forgot...

Signed,
Still pissed at a couple of Vice Presidents in his company who can't seem to schedule shutdown around HIS plans

I vagley just barely remember a thread about a dodge something or other truck( I think) that had some kind of new jet motor (not sure). I am sorry I can not give more details . There was only 1 or 2 replies about it and it was so long ago.

I liked Bill Murray's "things I've noticed lately. Most of the pictures don't work, but some of you older guys might get a kick out of it. It also helped establish the "or something" phrase as a staple of this board.

WHAT.....YOU'RE NOT COMING?

Well, I just returned from a brisk speed-walk of 2 miles--only needed an oxygen 'hit' twice. The Indian Tabac Thomahawk cigar kept me pumped up and free-breathin'

I am disappointed CC that you came up with a lame excuse at such a late date afterall, I am giving up 'cold-calling' wealthy widows this Sat. just so we could go at it.

(Guys, I just started 'this' to interject 'my' sense of humor. CC had already told me he was going to have to work Sat. so I thought I would 'start something'. As always, he takes my sense of humor in stride and adds his own.)

CC, I do hope we can run against each other soon. And whomever 'wins' or 'loses', we will still each be one hellofa Lightning owner and racer!

Dan

Note: I hope everybody else, especially Tampasvt forgives me for taking this thread off-topic.

Talking

Yes, Marcus, the Herculiner post ranks among the funniest. That's got to smart. And even though it didn't originate on this board, I thought the "All Your Base are Belong to Us" was very amusing. I thought the one where the dude incinerated his L. in a burn-out contest was funny, in a sadistic sort of way. And any post with Raoul and BBQ in it is guaranteed to be funny.

I think the funniest was one where a guy was trying to describe the 1-2 factory cylinder drop sound as a fart sound. Another guy asked if was a wet one or a dry.... It got funnier as it went along.
