Who Has Installed H3 Fogllight Bulbs? THEY DONT FIT on my 2001 L

I took out my foglight bulb, and it looks like the bulb is totally different still...first of all I tried getting the bulb out of the housing and one of the wires broke off so that light wont work anymore...the damn H3's have this big blue wire coming from them, which is totally different from the stock ones!!!!!!!!!! What the hell am i supposed to do? THe foglights I ordered from here off of F150online dont fit????

Wierd.......I ordered the 9007's and H3's all at once and everything fit just perfect.
Maybe they just shipped you the wrong stuff. Call Roger back............Lemere Industries is a stand up company.

Well actually the stock bulbs say #9145 on them. But when I called Lemere Industries I spoke with a young lady (very nice BTW) and she told me the H3's will work........and guess what.....the fit like a glove. They also have no ground wire coming off of them like the ones you ordered.

I had the same problem you guys went through and I posted along time ago.....

Everything has been fine since I put them in.......not even a cracked lens <<knocking on wood>>.

I just had my 2000 Lightning repaired and they were not able to get the 2000 housing and bulb. Therefore the body shop at this Ford dealer removed the assemblies from a 2002 (same as 2001). They had to get a GM adapter to put on my wiring to plug these bulds in. I was told they are not H3s but the high beam light used on GMs. I am almost positive you got the wrong buld and I do not know the correct bulb number for your application. Look in your owners manaual and return for the correct buld.

TRUST ME ON THIS ONE............I was in the same situation. My bulbs said 9145 also but when I called the lady from F-150 online she said that their bulbs (which are H3's) will work. And they did!!!!!!!

So just call them or check the online store here and order them.

well the thing is that i ordered them OFF here and got the H3's in the picture that you see....and they're TOTALLY different from what would work....so if I order the fogs again im just going to get the same ones again that dont work....
what should i do? i searched around the web and nobody makes the 9145 bulbs....

9005 Bulbs will work in a 2001 Foglight. Just be sure not to use a higher wattage bulb or it will burn the dome over the bulb. PIAA 9005's work great.

Hope this helps.
