Sorry guys for not getting back on this earlier. ive been kinda swamped here latley! This is still in the testing stages. and we hope to be able to release it ASAP! As others have said it is very complexed to get everything to work properly. however because *certain* others could not do this with 2 yrs of trying. dosn't mean some body else can't do it.(words of wisdom) Never under estimate No One! This program when its available will be on a new designed chip that Others will not be able to read.(Not saying *others* will do this Yes it does involve the knock sensor however just turning on the knock sensor will not do what were talking about. It involves MUCH more than that. But if everything continues to go the way it has been then we should have it available pretty soon! I will be testing myself with this when the weather permits and i get my truck back together. I'll keep everyone posted as i find out more info. and availability. Thanx.....JL

Question

Will there be any detonation if you use 90 octane on this new technology.

Knock Some Sensor Something into Me

Guessing what a certain tuner is up to.

I'll take a wild guess and say maybe arming the Knock Sensor after a predetermined rpm@a certain boost. Disarming it again when you fall back within a so called safe parameter. Seems like this would alow the engine to be pushed beyond established safety limits and yet still have the protection of the knock retard.

Thumbs up

Hey,

Sounds like you and the guys at Diablo have been working overtime lately. Can't wait to get my hands on the new Technology chip.

Is a 3 program chip still in the future??

thanks

I have nothing against JL AT ALL. In fact I think he's a great guy from what I know of him. A #1! He's just passing on what D-sport is telling him. From my experience with D-sport, they can't be trusted to represent their products 100% accurately. I'm not saying they have a bad product. He!!, I use their product. It's just not the holy grail of chips that they paint it up as. By not delivering on their claims in the past, they have made me skeptical about any claims they make. Maybe John has seen this new product in action and knows it works already. If not, I would be nervous about making a pitch for it in advance of the actual finished product.

If I'm wrong for trying to keep other L owners feet on the ground, then I'm wrong. This sounds like a great product. I hope it works just as advertised. I'd love to feel safer about the mods I have on my truck. I just don't want a false sense of security. Thanks.

LOL
Hey..they all do it. How many times over the years have you heard that a new product was coming out, and soon to be released? only to wait a few months, if not more. And some of those products STILL have yet to be released. I have been waiting for a Line-loc for close to a year.
Lets get real. With only a few tuners for a limited number of trucks, these guys have to "jump the gun" and talk about new products before the next guy does, or they will get beat by their own game.
Jerry from INJECT-TECH claimed to have perfected this in the past, that wasnt so. Question is....who will first?

What kind of effects would this program take with a nitrous wet kit on the truck?
