Saw a black Lightning at a dealer today with a topper. It looked real nice on the truck. I think the topper was an Astro. Anybody else have toppers on there trucks?

 

saw a coupple spy shots but on one on this board will say they do for fear of L vengence..

Saw a black '01 with an A.R.E. shell on it a few weeks ago on the used car lot. It did not look bad at all; if there were compelling reasons to do so I would not hesitate to cap my truck. Fortunately my dogs are safe in the VW so I don't have any compelling reasons to do so.

 

Here's one that was posted a few months ago. Looks pretty good to me. Kinda got me thinkin' in fact. Wouldn't it be nice to pull a 'vette while wearing a camper top.

Well I think my mom is buying the Lightning with the topper on it. She seems to like it and the price is good. Has a bassina (sp) cat back and the topper on it, aftermarket mirrors. She was trying to find silver, but this seems like a good deal. It is black like mine. She likes the topper so all her dogs can ride in the back and she can use the Lightning to tow here mustangs to the track.
Did a car fax and it came up clean.

 

Hey Jeff let her know that if she wants to trade the Bassani exhaust for my stock setup w/ 1000 miles on it...........I guess I'll do it for her

Oh and if she doesn't like the mirrors I'll "borrow" those too.

BTW......Thanks for the AR Baja's today........did you pick up anything at the swap meet for the 'stangs.

DL, Odin's Wrath beat me to it. Mine is an A.R.E.
Mine even has the electric lock and rear wiper system. I've seen Astros before and they look nice also.

 

i think the tops look so nasty lol ...............
