2pm PIR works for me. I will check with the track to see if anything is going on. If it is a car club day we can get out and run the road course for a small fee. I will post later and let you guys know if you need to bring a helmet.

Shaping up to be a good showing. I just finished scraping the big chunks off. Doesn't look half bad. Now if I just had my clay bar it would be looking sharp. Flash? lol

PIR 2002 Schedule here, but nothing happening until February.
http://www.portlandraceway.com/schedule.php

I washed off most of the dirt this evening, gonna try to throw on a mist of Z16 in the morning, if I can wake up early enough. I'm not going to worry a whole lot about it until most of the rainy season is over.

Oh yeah, I got some NGK TR6's from Baxter Auto Parts today, only $1.59 each. Now who wants to teach me how to replace those things?

Silver-Bolt, bring that CD of yours and I'll bring my laptop, so I can make copies.

Spoon you need the expert plug changer "Gumby" aka Flash. He is fast. Took me twice as long to do mine as he took to do his. I will bring the disc.

Angry

2-pm. PIR.
Picked up the truck from the Ford Dealer in Sandy yesterday.
Just as I thought would happen. Big ol' greasy handprint right in the middle of the hood! They didn't re-route the intercooler cooling lines ( I pointed it out to two different employees!) which were wrong from the factory and I zip-tied together when it had 150 miles on it. I took them six quarts of Mobil 1 for an oil change and they still didn't put enough in the engine. (quart low!) I'm not even sure they used the oil I supplied! Frickin' dealers! Every Ford service I've ever had has been a nightmare. Ford are you listening??!? First, 3-5 days to get the parts turned into twenty days. A call to Ford customer service gets me some moron named "Godfried" (got-fried is more like it) tells me it might be 3-5 weeks for the parts. Finally get to the right people who say the original parts were sent but the "dealer probably used them for someone else's vehicle". WTF. Sorry, but had to vent a little. My blood is still blue but it is boiling this morning. At least it appears to be running right although the intercooler reservoir is about an inch and a half lower that it ever was before since the repair. See you guys at PIR.
