Dodge SRT10 Pickup just announced [ Merged ]
all i have to say is JUST BRING IT! ford will and i mean WILL always be number one in the sport truck world. If this truck does make production then SVT will be there with a faster engine to drop in. also the dodge is just ugly. Ir looks liek they did a crash test on the old one and when they scraped it off the wall said " hmm this looks like ****. we'll take it." just my jibber jabber. peace.
Like the Chevy, I'll believe it when I see it.
It has too things going against it. The cost of a 32 valve Viper V-10 is going to be astromomical.
And all this coming from a company that is loosing BILLIONS of dollars per year.
Yeah, right!

I wonder if this imaginary truck will outrun Chebbies imaginary sport truck?
Only 12.9? If I were making up numbers I could come up with something better than that!
This is the same old song and dance...if it does show up (04?) it will have the iron block, 400-450 hp, and the 22" rims. Performance will be mid 13s, and handling will be slightly worse than the L for that year. Launching the thing cleanly will separate the men/women from the boys/girls.
I'll worry about one when it pulls up next to me at a stoplight. Until then, this is just one corporation trying to out BS another one.

Hold on boys...we're talking about a SHOW truck! Its nice that we have held the title since 99, "Fastest Production Truck". I don't think that Ford's ready to let it go quite yet. Bring them all on Chebys, Dodge's and the Jap trucks too, old Lightning never die....they just get FASTER
It was released at the auto show. It has the new Viper engine in it and will be release next year for the same price as the L. There will be no production limits and the price will be around the same as the Ls. There is a long thread and pictures of it in the Mustang chat room in Blue Oval News. Well I guess it is time for the L to step to the plate or move aside. This is one bad *** Dodge Truck! Alan
