axle hopping?
Take the time to learn how these differentials work..Hard for me to explain, but when not under power the clutches relax and let the rear wheels turn independently of each other..When power is applied,, Like a rachet the clutches tighten up and bind the 2 rear wheels together ( like in the old days we would weld the spider gears together),,as stated eariler the outside wheel has to catch up to the inside wheel and all it can do is skip,,hop etc. to catch up.. Traction bars will not help this..applying the throttle lightly when cornering will..Just my take on this..Hope it helps..

i think popular hot roding just had a show on differentials this sunday, check your tv guide because they will be on again late some night this week if you really wanted to learn about differentials.
I know a guy wit the same problem and i now to have it. He said to go to ford and pick up a bottle of motorcraft friction additive modifier fluid and after putting in do a few figure eights at low speed and problem solved.
