Hmmmm, with the extended cab it has a built in excuse as to why it's slower.

bigger and heavy with not as much power = worse handling and slower.

Throw a supercharger on thing and give us some real competition

Talking Look out for those pipes...

I hear say that those are rocket exhaust ports. Be careful fellas, it is said that he did the 1/4 mile in 2.08 seconds, but all the plastic parts flew off in the process.

Oh, yeah....on subject.

What's with the color on that SS?

I keep hearing about all these Chevy/Dodge/Toyota trucks that are supposed to be Blue Oval Busters. . .but they never have a production date available, nor have I seen anything on the street.
The HD Silverado. . .Joke.
R/T Dakota 5.9L. . .Bigger Joke.
TRD Tundra. . .my sides still hurt from laughing.

This SS thing looks good as a concept, but I'll believe it when I see it.
ATTENTION CHEVY, DODGE, & TOYOTA:
WILL YOU ALL PLEASE MAKE SOMETHING THAT WILL AT LEAST COMPETE WITH A LIGHTNING!!!!
We are all getting bored/tired of kicking the crap out of your sports cars with our pick-ups.

Later,

Sorry guys,
Ex-cab may equal more weight, but it also equals better weight distribution. If GM doesn't pull the same stupid crap they did with the 454 SS (Lots of power/no traction), we could be looking at some serious competition in a year or so. When (IF) it does come out, we'll be competing for about $6-10,000.00 less. I'd bet money on that.

One other thing.....If this thing is rated at 350hp and 400lbs.-ft. of torque by GM, you can bet it'll be very under rated. Either that or Chevy will claim to now have topped Fords incredible 11.9% drive train loss for an auto trans.
