I personally think it is ugly. But I dont think it will be any competition to the Lightning. 6.0L only pushing 350/400, and in that big thing...

 

If the super charge it, it will be Bad A. I seen one at NOPI Nationals in atlanta. it looked awsome. had air bags all the way around.

I'll tell u what...........if Lingenfelter got a 13.3 out of a supercharged 6.0 in a C3 Sierra, I think we may be in for some competition............looks-wise, the L has it no doubt........but they may have a shot performance-wise............I hope I'm wrong..

heck yeah i'm scared. if one of those monsters hit me in my little VW i'd be nothing but a grease spot. that's when the slogan "like a rock" would have real applicability.

 

I dont think we need to be worried. This truck will be some competition, but i think any lightning can take it. With the hp and tq numbers predicted and the weight, its will not be faster. I think chevy spent 75% of their time workin with the "show" aspect of this truck. Its more like a gangster(for lack of better word) truck. isnt there like a performance option and a show option that comes with different rims and tires or something?? That right there says that they are trying to be more "show" oriented. With the Lightning, ford went $90 performance imo. So basically dont worry, people looking for performance will go with the L, people looking for show with a little perofrmance will go with the SS.
