Hey lightning gal, just callin it the way we see it . I don't have to look far to find a soccer mom driving an Expedition, I am married to one. And NO she does NOT need a supercharger on her Expedition while talking on her cell phone(yes she does that) while diving my son to Soccer practice(yes he plays soccer). She is also adept at stressing herself out, so basicaly she has the whole package going.

I do not think that EVERYONE thinks that ALL SUV drivers are soccer mom's, but there are enough of them to make the roads plenty dangerous. When my wife is out driving, I get off the road NOW!

LMFAO!!!!

I am glad to see some of the faithful L owners still ride a high horse. If I remember correctly my dad drives an Expedition and my mom has a F-350 Crewcab. And I know this can go on and on with each one being able to sight this example and that example, but really, how many of us L guys drive while we are on the cell phone in these supercharged trucks? How are we any different than anyone else, males included, driving a supercharged expedition while talking on the cell phone? How is this any different than those who talk on the phone (soccer moms, business execs, grandparents, whatever) while driving there lil maunal transmission cars? There is no difference. I for one hope they build the Thunders and more products cause I love Ford products and would love to see them stimulate the martket and maybe, just maybe get the other automakers step up to the plate and bring even more sports vehicles to the table.

Eric

I think my wife would actually enjoy that! Actually, that would be cool as hel..to be sitting next to the Lightning in the drive!

I make it to NAIAS every year. I'll hopefully find out the straight poop from the reps and then I'll post their lies here.

I wouldn't be surprised to see either of them.

Ford is desperate for product. The product delays brought on by Jac the Knife are starting to panic the Ford brass. Watch for more specialty vehicles to fill the gaps.

They could build something like the Thunder Expy with minimum fuss and engineering. The same with a convertible Merc.
