can only drive my truck to school and work
lucky?
having a nice truck does not make you lucky.
hell, im 19 and i have a navigator.
that means i could almost have 2 lightnings.
but that does not make me lucky.
you know what makes me lucky?:
1. my parents did a great job raising me.
2. they taught me to work hard.
3. they brought me up in a christian enviornment.
4.my dad worked his @$$ off to get where he is today so my parents would not have to struggle raising me and could provide me with things i needed.
i could keep going on but i have to go out and get some food.im hungry.
maybe next time you shoudl think before you post. just from reading it, it sounds like you are bragging for driving a lightning at a young age.
you know there are several kids on this board with lightnings.
noone likes it when they get on here and say stupid ***** like you said.
especailly the ones that openly admit their parents buying them the truck.
im proud to say that i pay fully for my truck myself.
Granted i do work for my dad and that is the only way i can afford it i still pay for it myself.
dont think i have an easy job either.you could ask anyone who knows me how hard he is on me.
if i messed up one time he would fire me. he expects me to be perfect and work my hardest but i know why he does it.
im not going to work for him forever.one day ill have to get out and get a real job for myself and he wants me to be as succesful as he is and he knows you can only get somewhere when you work to your fullest potential.
well im through venting.
anyone else want to continue for me?

I'm 40-something; have a beatiful wife, three kids, a 3500 sq.ft. home, a lightning, a ducati and a bunch of other toys. One of dogs peed on the carpet and the wife makes me go to church.
Life Sucks.
Moderator - Please leave fodder such as this dip$hi* on the board so we can all have a little fun every now and then!

He doesn't even show his parents respect in person, do you think he's going to show some respect on this board??????
"They took away my MTV, and my SVT, and now I have to use the regular phone because my parents took away my cell phone"
I think you need to attend USMC unniversity after high school.

Sorry i went to bed early last night, and missed the progression of this one, but i was tired from bitching out my 17yr old son, who just finished his first semester of college. he presented me with his grades, which were perfect, then his tuition bill for next semester. we had a lenghtly discussion about the fact that the bills for tuition were in my name, but the diploma (if any) would be in his name, and he should kiss my *** accordingly, or something
stupid
The kid is obviously a "kid" for posting something like that. But for Doug to threaten to ban him.....come one... I'm twenty 21, going on 22 Sunday. I'm not bragging about what I drive. I've been working full time since the day I graduated high school. I chose to live at home for a few more years and get a lighting. My friends kinda laugh at my "morgage payment" for a car payment. They say I should live in it for what I pay. Works for me!!! Carpeted bed linerand tonneau cover......beats camping anyday!!! Ignorance is abundant.....we were all kids one day. Wasn't that long ago for me. Ban him......no. Doug, have him email over a signed permission slip
Lucky?
Being a sassy lad in my day would have constituted head trauma and a bloody long 'nap' irregardless WHO was the sassee..
Therefore, you are lucky..... to have full control of your facilities.
Good day.

Quote of the day for MoronMike:
Good thing your parents buy you nice stuff because in the real world, if you had to make it on intelligence, you would be walking...and thats a stretch.

17, in college and perfect grades?
You might want to make the ***-kissing mutual. You know for later in life, or something...
Hey, while I'm thinking of mutual agreements....
No football related shots post-Sunday. Not that I'm nervous, or anything...
It's just going to be a really sore subject for one of us(you).
Somebody's play-off hopes will be ended, you know.
Did he say "sassy lad"?
That reminds me. I need to send BullDog an e-mail.

Hey young dudes with pricey rides. Working for your own ride is honorable to say the least. However think of this. "If I know now what I should've known then when I turned sixteen, I would've spent the money on Microsoft. Lightinings and the such would be much easier to come by these days. In other words invest for the future. Sorry for the rant. GOTTA love Christmas.
Just wait until the parental money supply dwindles
Complaining that you can't drive your truck that has been provided to you won't win you any friends among those whose financial responsibilities lie far beyond the trappings of the average high school student...

I agree....
However, i work everyday for my future.....family buisness. Can't remember ever working less than 50 hrs in a week. Worked a few 13 hourers (not a word I don't think) last week. If my time isn't being well spent to help the buisness.....i'll be thinking how i should've spent my time racing my lightning in 20 years when I end up working for someone else!!!
blah blah blah,,, i've worked extremely hard to get where i am now too, but lets let his parents sort him out just like all of ours did (unless you sorted yourself out in which case i have respect for you as well) i always see stuff like this posted whenever i younger guy starts talking, how about we just give these guys a break and let them have fun like we wished we had with a car when we were 16.
i'll tel you a bit of my fun though,, to me nothing beats driving a beat up old pos around, you get to ram stuff in parking lots, do doughnuts in it without worying about hittting anything, cramming fifteen people in it to watch the car scrape the ground,,paint all sorts of crap on it, i guess all i['m saying there, is thaat its fun to drive around a car you dont care about so much
