Question Want to purchase new Lightning

I am interested in a new lightning and I figured this would be the place to go for information. The truck I am looking at is a 2000 with 7,000 miles. It has the 2001 90mm air meter and blower pulley with a custom DIABILO chip. Would you guys think it has been harmed by the chip? What would be a fair price? Any other input welcomed. Thanks

What is your asking price? The one I am looking at is only a 3-4 hr. drive so it would save shipping cost. I have never owned a Ford truck so this is pretty new to me. I have a 64-1/2 Mustang and my family owns lots of Ford cars but no Ford trucks. All Chevrolet trucks. My younger bro has a 99 Vette so running close with him with a pick-up truck would be exciting. Anyone want to trade for a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara(my current toy)?

2020is,

There is a guy here in VA that has two L's for sale, both are 2001 and have like 6000 miles each on them. He paid cash for them and now he is going to reloacte and build a house. So he needs to sell them. I believe he wants like 26,500 for each??? Thats a really good deal since they are low miles!!!! And since your in NC it wouldnt be that bad of a drive, He is in Chesapeak,VA... Let me know If I can help!!! I will find his # and F150 user name!!!

Thanks, I looked through the ads here and found those two L's. Very enticing with the low miles. The one I am looking at is also low miles and well cared for. Any advice regarding the custom Diabilo chip? Better to buy the stock 2001 L or the modded 2000.

Either way would be a good choice, the chip wouldnt harm anything unless it was installed wrong, and usually the truck will not even start if that happens. I personally have saw the 2 trucks the guy is selling and they are spotless!!!!

$25,500 would be a fair price I think......since I've got 13k miles on the 2001.

I don't know why I bother, except that I am congenitally helpful. I don't know why you people ask sensitive questions after disabling the e-mail link in your signature. Has it occurred to you that some of us my not want to answer your question publically because we don't want to get involved in any flame wars? My link is in my sig if you care for my input.
