My company truck I have was in the shop for tune up and other minor things and I used my Lightning for hauling around and working on and installing A/C units this summer I dont make it a habbit its hard to remove the snug top all the time by your self. But mostly I just pull my boat to the lake.

I do. I haven't got a bedrug yet either. I use one of the large, heavy blankets that movers use on the bed floor for now. I also tow my boat all the time with it. Nothing like a functional sports car type vehicle.

I don't have a Lightning (yet, maybe soon) but I have '01 Harley F150, and I hauled a bunch of stuff with it. We get a rubber HD logo bed matt, so it's a little better.

I hauled a boatload of groceries, obviously, and about 1000 lbs of marble tiles for my home renovation. I just got a stair stepper so I carried that back myself. My girlfriend is moving out of her apartment so I also moved all her furnitures out. (why do girls have so many furnitures anyway? Don't they know that Lazy Boys are the multi-tools of furnitures?) Plus 6 of my good friends (plus 3 more in the cab) when my friend's Cherokee overheated.

End result is a few scratches, a few dings, but I figure, I can cover it all up with a Bedrug whenever I get enough money to get one.

The only thing I haul is maybe about 5-6 kegs a weekend to and from my house to the liquor store I'll get a pic one of these days with the whole back filled up.

Not everyweek actually, maybe a few weekends a month. We throw parties to make a little extra cash now and then, so we'll kick those kegs in a matter of hours.

Not all of us can be handed money from our parents to fund us through COLLEGE. I don't know if your comment was to poke fun at me or my lifestyle, or if you were just reminiscing of the fun you used to have when you were my age.....don't know how to take that

Cool

Don't haul that much besides a$$, but do tow a small boat from time to time.

Cool

Seems every time I load it full of grass, head to Home Depot, or clean out the garage some F body punk picks on this F150 with ill results. Here are pics after getting it Line-X'ed hours earlier. It seems Line-X adds 1000lbs capacity

The usual stuff. Lumber to the mountain cabin, Truck-Traks to the powder coater, Chevy engines to the engine builder, small woodworking machines, A$$, etc.

I also use it to haul (2) sets of race tires, tools floor jack to the race track.

I also tow a boat with it occasionally.

It's a truck, and that is what it was built to do.

I run a produce distribution center in Denver and am always hauling around a pallet of oranges or apples or something. They weigh about 2000lbs a pallet. Boy the old L sure squats. A couple months ago I had to haul 2700lbs of wine grapes to a customer in Vail. Going up the hill cars kept pulling out to pass me and than realized I wasn't slowing down. The look on peoples faces is priceless. I'm sure it's not good on it, but I check the springs and shocks after each time. It is a truck, and I'm going to treat it like one. My grandpa suggested I take the tailgate off so I could haul firewood. I had to draw the line on that one.
