'00BlackLightning: i wanna see whats attached to the top of those legs in your pic. (not the white dog either... hehe)

16w/Lightning: use the Z7 whenever you want.

this is what i use..

wash with Z7 than dry.
go over truck with Z6 (gloss enhancer)
than a coat of Z1 followed by a coat of Z5 (Z1 desn't have to dry)
take off Z5, then go over with Z6 again.
apply Z2, then use Z6 again.
then go on to Z16 (tire/plastic gloss)
Z12 (glass polish)

for full step by step instructions, go to http://www.zainobros.com/files/application.htm

16w/Lightning,
you should wash your truck with Z7 and dry thoroughly. Follow that up with an application of Z6 to help remove any remaining water spots. You can use Z7 as a weekly car wash. It is specially formulated to work well with Z2 or Z5 and it has UV inhibitors to keep your paint looking great. If you are starting from square one, using Dawn to remove the old wax and then the clay bar treatment, then yes, you should wash the vehicle with Z7 prior to the Z1 / Z2 or Z5 treatment. If you do the Z1 treatment, do not put Z6 on first.

from the zaino webpage..

8. Use Z-6 "Gloss Enhancer" spray as per directions, between each and every coat of Z-5 or Z-2. It really helps give a three dimensional look.

It's antistatic properties will reduce dust and dirt pickup by 60%. Z-6 can be used immediately after removing Z-2 or Z-5 or right before applying the next coat of Z-2 or Z-5. Most of my customers prefer to use Z-6 both, before and after Z-2 or Z-5 for that extra gloss boost.

yeah, dont use the Z6 before the Z1.. use it before and afer every coat of Z5 & Z6.

I still use the Zaino Gloss Enhancer I had left ever from my Zaino days. The detail supply shop has a enhancer similar to the Z6 but I haven't tried it yet. I have tried the Super Dressall vinyl protectant for the interior, tires and engine. Drys and won't sling from tires.

Call them at:
American Detail Supply

Corpus Christi TX
They can ship anywhere.

If it was parked near the access road away from everyone, yes that was me. You must have been the guy that waved in the red L. I turned into the shopping center hoping to see you there, but no luck. You live in Austin? We need to get together and talk about the L's.

Yeah, that was me. I go down to Corpus quite often. Most of my family is lives there. Last time my wife went down there, she went to the Sonic on Staples & McArdle on a Saturday night. She said that there were 2 Red L's and quite a few Vettes hanging out. I've only seen your truck and 1 red '99.

As far as I know there is another black '99, 2 red '00's. One of the red's has moved to Houston and I've heard of a 3rd black L in the northside of town. E-mail me next time you come down and have some time.
