I use to run the br7 NGK plug in my Turbo Sciroco back in 1981. They are a very cool running plug. My turbo had no intercooler and ran MUCH hotter than our L ever will and I had no problem with pinging. However, I wonder if this might be over kill in our application on anything other than full time WOT. If you run on the street I can't see installing a 7 heat range plug. Just my 2 cents.
