Thin it down with rubbing alcohol, then dress it up with Mother's back to black or Meguiar's trim detailer. Now be more careful or you shall be banished from the board.

Warm a 'gob' of smooth peanut butter in the micro-wave in a saucer. Take it and an old tooth brush and brush the old wax away--I would do this just before I was going to wash my L.

Good way to prevent getting wax on plastic is to mask it off. Only takes a few minutes and then you can go crazy with the wax. The peanut butter trick works good. Be careful with the back to black products. Over time those products combined with sunshine will turn black plastic to a gray color.

I just use a pencil eraser. One of thoe clicky things from Pentel does a great job. Cheap and effective. Or you could buy a new piece of trim. Also very effective

Try it now!!!!

Sprinkle salt in a circle around the area.Place chicken bones in the shape of an arrow, pointing west, next to the area.Face the south and chant 3 times,MUWAPEE SUWANNA.It won't get the wax off,but it keeps the neighbors out of your yard.

Damn,I'm bored.

Good question! I have been wondering this for some time, but too lazy to do anything about it. I used a toothbrush (no peanut butter) and it worked ok. I will have to try this now...

After trying many suggestions, the only thing that worked for me was using a tooth brush and dish washing soap straight from the bottle.

Just don't let your current trim know. They may get real upset.

I used just the back to black and it worked VERY well. I will not use it again though now that you say it could fade and turn grey in the sun

Westley's white wall cleaner works great, use a tooth brush and then wash the truck to clean all the Westley's off. I use Super Glaze Wax from The Wax Shop and I don't have this problem anymore. If you get Super Glaze on the black trim it just looks like its got Armor All on it.
