NEW FASTEST TIMES ON F1's RECORDED!
Outrageous:
You do "a monster burnout" on F1s???
I thought that was verbotin? My F1s.........hell, I don't know what to say........any more info/help would be appreciated by many of us.
Makes me think of Wayne's World(and I'm an ol' cuss, but I've got a 25 yr. old son)--"We are not worthy; we are not worthy."

Not to flame, but it has nothing to do with a monster burnout, all you do by an excessive burnout is glaze the tires and it could actually hurt you on a street tire.
it comes down to 2 things,
1) Practice
2) The Track (Cecil)
Being as I have what I would call a good amount of drag experience, learning your particular vehicle will make all the difference. By my 2nd trip to the track i was cutting 1.87's to 1.88's at a terribly prepped track.
You can walk to the starting lines at the local tracks and slide your feet across them. At cecil your feet will practically come out of your shoes because it is so sticky.
Out of all the guys posting on this board, look at who is making the best times, and they are all making them at Cecil. One of my best friends was out there for the MM&FF shootout a couple weeks back, and the corrected elevation was 1400 ft below sea level.
This also is going to help your 60', total ET, and total MPH.
Anyway, congrats on some awesome times, I was hoping for some good weather for the last day here locally, but we got 70 degrees and 90% humidity with fog on the track, so, gotta wait til next year!
