NEW FASTEST TIMES ON F1's RECORDED!

Just got back from good ole Cecil County Dragway. This was my first visit to this track. I am very impressed with the track prep. Its the only track I didn't spin through 2nd gear on. I knew that is what I needed, alittle help in 2nd gear and it would all come together. I had a 1/4 tank of gas and the hitch and pass. seat in the truck. My first pass was not to bad but I had alittle more tire spin out of the gate.
1.799 60ft
5.137 330ft
7.919 1/8
87.94 MPH
10.352 1000
12.412 1/4
109.39 MPH
Now my second pass was for the money. I got my hook!
1.778 60ft
5.120 330ft
7.881 1/8
88.80 MPH
10.288 1000
12.330 1/4
110.32 MPH
SWEET I WAS SO HAPPY! I couldn't believe how deep into the 30's it went. :D

Very nice times!! Im very impressed with your 60 foot times as well. Its hard to believe that a truck with street tires could pull a 1.7. Thats just awesome.

Check out that 1/8 mph! Some cars don't run that in the 1/4!:D:D What other weight savings did you do (spare, tailgate, swaybar, etc. etc.) Do you run a street program or race program? Sweet times!:D

I removed the front sway bar, the spare tire and the tailgate. I'm almost 100% sure the tailgate doesn't make a difference.
And I run a JL Race Program.:D

The trick to great 60fts is a monster burnout and learn how your truck likes to leave.

GOOD JOB

DITTO, YOU GOTTA SPIN THE DOLLAR BILLS FROM UNDER YOUR TIRES TO LAUNCH LIKE OUTRAGEOUS AND I. CONGRATS OUTRAGEOUS I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA HAVE THAT ONE FOR AWHILE. WE'LL HAVE TO WAIT TILL SPRING TO SEE IF I CAN BREAK IT.:D :p

outrageous01 Nov 20, 2001 12:40 PM

Thanks JOHNNYSVT, there may be more to come. I heard there is a race a Cecil County on the 15th of Dec. Is that true and if so are you going to be there?

JOHNNYSVT Nov 20, 2001 12:58 PM

DUNNO

I HAVE HEARD THAT ALSO. BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THERE IS ANY TRUTH TO IT. IF EITHER OF US FINDS OUT LETS LET EACH OTHER KNOW CAUSE I LOVE RACIN AT CECIL. THE ONLY THING IS THE TRIP DOWN $UCKS FOR ME.
