Post Cleartastic

Just found this website that I thought some of you might be interested in. http://www.cleartastic.com/index.htm

I know that I have all the bugs and rock chips on the front of my truck, but I don't want to put a unsightly bra on it either. This would be a cool solution. Unfortunately they don't make it to fit the F150 trucks, but if we could figure out what it is, maybe we could use something similar.

Just a thought.

One of my old roommates works at a Napa auto parts store. He was telling me of a product that 3M makes that is similar to the one on the link you posted. As far as I understood it was a brush on(almost like a clear thick paint) that once you paint it on the panels you want protected it hardens. When it starts to look bad you just peel it off. I will try and find more information on it.

I would be afraid of anything that you would paint on my finish.

Stoneguard.com

supposedly works pretty good. Thinking about it myself before they crack open. I already see some splits from rocks.
