Lightbulb 2002's Spotted

I drove past the Oakville factory today and saw about 30 2002 Lightnings parked in the yard. Lots of the new true blue along with silver, red and black ones. In my opinion the blue trucks don't look that good, they almost look black. Just my opinion. But this is confirmation that they are in production. Maybe I can take some pics next time I am there.

Well, I guess that some of the dealers who said that the would be coming out early, may have been right.

i honestly think other than the fact its just something new, that the blue color is going to be nothing special. i reallly like that dark purple that one of the guys photo shopped though, and something more striking like yellow would have been much better.

That said, what is red, white, black, silver? Nothing special really, considering they ar available on tons of other ford products. Blue is just another one of "those" colors which I believe people will like just as much as the other colors for one reason or another.
Everyone has a favorite color (among the available colors)..people like white because they didnt make as many, or because its stealth, black because it looks kick *** clean, red.... you get the point. Someone (me ) will like blue for a similar reason.

Now... I totally agree that they should offer at least one color that isnt close to any other color that is offered on other ford products (ie: mystic!). That would be kick bottom.

Just my .02

That color is most likely "deep wedgewood blue" not "true blue clearcoat metallic" for 02L. I have a 01 SuperCrew for sale that has same two-tone paint as that image.

Fowl, what color are you getting?

I guess there will soon be 7 L's here...

2 White,
2 Red,
1 Black,
1 Blue,

and whatever color you are getting...
