Would like to see a good showing of Lightnings at this event, We get to race some Chevy's...Come on out and we'll kick some but on the Mustangs, Camaro's, Vettes, etc.

Sounds like alot of fun and a good club also. I think I will make this one. What's a good place to stay in the area? Where/when is everyone meeting? Can you join the club at the event or should I do it now?

 

Augusta (~15 minutes from the track) has umpteen thousand hotels around I-20 and Washington Rd. (exit 199). Everything should be finalized very shortly (as far as a start-time). It's looking now that everyone will meet at the track (http://www.carolinadragway.com) and start racing at 11:00, possibly earlier.

BTW, the weather should be AWESOME the entire day!

 

Did you get your pulley on? Are you going to get IBM(hehehe) to reburn you chip. If it hasn't been reburned yet, I would think mixing 1 or 2 gals. of 100 octane race gas with 5 or 6 gals of 93 octane would provide detonation protection---might want to call IBM to be sure though.

Good luck with getting your '12' and with the event. I won't be getting over there for this one but keep in touch for future events. Hope to see you(and any other 'east' or 'north' GA. We'e got 28 people pre-registered as of this morning (still should be some coming in). Looks as if this might be apretty big event. Should have a couple of ZR-1's (some of my local buddies) as well as a few other L besides myself and you. The weather is looking like it should be GREAT as well. Should be an AWESOME event!

This is DL, I'm on one of the L owners computer that is going to show up also.. I know of two other (Red) L's that will be there, they don't get on the boards much.

A 01 and a 99. So that's Five so far, maybe Richard will show up from VA.

That's not to bad..We'll have a great time...If some of you from out of town come in on Friday night, Let me know, maybe we all can hook up..
