Scott,

Really looking forward to seeing that Viper. I've heard you put down some INSANE hp #'s with it.

well...

HP is GREAT (old config is 851RWHP (TQ not readable) but I've got to get some seat time. My first pass at the track with her I did 11.5 at 134mph ON STOCK MICH PILOTS. And then smoked the clutch (getting it out of the shop today) then its off to get 300 wuss miles on her before this weekend.

Can't wait to try out my "new" config. If I don't get 10.8 on mich pilots at a MUCH better MPH I'll NOT be happy.

I'm goin' to try and make it. Having never raced before, it aught to be a blast. I'd bring my Slv '01 and hopefully talk a buddy into coming with his red '00. That'd make 7 & 8.

I too have a question about the helmet, I take it I should go ahead and get one? Sell them there or what? What about driveshaft loop and all that?
I'll be coming from the ATL area down I-20. What's the schedule looking like? I don't plan on staying the night.
Sorry for all the questions. Just unsure of what to expect.

They have got helmets at the track (older on that don't look very stylish but they work).

Tenativly looks like we will be starting at 11:00 at the track. You can keep an eye here and on the following link. As soon as it's final, we'll post something.

Talking

I'm ready to Rumble, Let's get it on!!!

See you there and praying for cool air!!!

I'm running on 18 inch tire's this weekend, So I'm ready to burn some rubber on the F1's...

Had to send the first set of 20 inch chrome 01's that I received today, back to the plater. Had a few too many blemishes for myself. He said he would personally check the next set, before sending, so I have to wait on a new set..

Thumbs up

Hey you guys,

Some of us L owners are going to meet around 9:00 AM Sat. morning at MGW before going to the track. George at MGW is going to give us a tour of his facility. He makes CNC machined aluminum accesssories for our L's, mustangs and other makes and models..

Shoot me an E-Mail and I'll give you directions , be kinda neat to have all the L's meet and then go to the track..It's not to far out of the way from his shop to the track.

See ya,
DL
