If your answer is yes, you to are guilty of reckless endangerment and/or speeding. Will you hold yourself accountable? or if a fellow officer pulls you over, chances are fairy slim you will recieve a ticket inwhich you will cannot defeat with ease based solely on your status of a police officer.

FYI, your accusations of "people like me" being pulled over many times is wrong. In many cases, where i was a passenger in the car, drivers have gotten tickets for the pettiest "offenses" regardless of the respect shown for the officer. More than likely, the same offenses in which you are above.

I have seen cops give double parking tickets when they themselves are double parked to give you a ticket. How about the free parking passes used by officers off duty to park wherever they feel compelled to without fear of persecution.
Is it fair to give tickets based upon how you feel that day?
Where is the justice in this.

I find it extremely difficult to understand your reasoning when you yourself have not experienced what regular people have to go through when fighting tickets. If you hold others accountable for offenses, the same should apply to yourself and dealt with as the average Joe.
Dont be so ignorant, cops double parked to give you a ticket...geez...

Are you being a troll? I love your one sentence reply to a 4 paragraph post that makes no sense whatsoever. You must be a "pig", or either your daddy is!

ofcgary, you're cool in my books and I'm sure we will all become great online friends.

P.s. Well looka here...fast54triton's dad IS an oinker after all!

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...&highlight=cop

Look, he makes no sense w/ his statements either:

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...threadid=16791

Heh, no one around here races, so I race with well known friends at the acadamy.
https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...&pagenumber=13

Neal, stop by the detroit area, and be prepared for an all-nighter.

By where I live, there are about 25 ppl who race on a 2-3 mile strip of flat, 2 lane, straight road at 2 am.
Which is it...no one races around there, or 25 ppl do? Or are you just trying to show off and point out that you get to play w/ your daddy on the police proving grounds (woo woo...jerk jerk, whack whack).

Here's the best one saved for last:

My dad had one at 130mph...while pulling out of the station, he left 20 feet of rubber. He took a 97' Crown Vic up to 105 and it felt very shakey, where as the Caprice rode on air!
And you condone all of this above? Yeah, Daddy Hog, Momma Sow, and Lil Piglet make a lot sense don't they guys!?!

DonC: Yeah, it definitely has been an expensive week for me. I actually ended up cancelling my F1 order through http://www.tirerack.com and instead ordered two Toyo Proxes ST 295/45-18 tires that others (including 95rcora- thanks) have talked about and recommended for $199 a piece through http://www.treadepot.com.

About the exit off the Pike...call me paranoid, but I'd rather not post that on here. (disclaimer: Not that all police officers are bad, but...) ...I'd be willling to bet there are some officers here in MA that read and participate on this board (not necessarily this forum), and since I'm apparently having enough trouble as it is staying out of trouble, there's no reason to pinpoint my actual daily driving route for all to see. Anyways, I looked today on the way to work again and the ONLY signs on the ramp are YELLOW in color, and do NOT have the word "LIMIT" anywhere on them. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I think I might actually have a shot at beating this thing. I purposely waited for a car to pass me today after I paid my toll and followed him to see how fast he was going. Well, he was going the same as me (and the same as anybody and everybody usually do)...45 to 50.

Thanks for the offer of taking the pics for me- I really do appreciate it; but to take as many pictures in as many locations as I'm planning to, it would probably take you all day- way past 4:20...which we couldn't have (jk!).

Anyways, thanks again guys.

Later...

Here in FL, we CANNOT write speeding tickets when there are those annoying yellow signs on exits, etc. Those are not speed limit signs. I would definately take all of them to court. The failure to yield is BS, you can explain your situation to the judge, there was no breakdown lane and you did not want to stop in the middle of the highway for safety, so you slowed, put your turn signal on, AND pointed to where you intended to go. I have had many people do similar things. Most judges would buy that. As far as the speeding, it never hurts to challenge that. Especially if he did "estimate" your speed and not pace in his cruiser or have you on radar/laser. He is the one that has to prove more than you.

I am with Ofcgary, most of us are cool. But, every single PD in the world has a-holes that are officers. Most of us are fair to everyone. Out of 10 traffic stops I make, I only write 2 to 4 tickets, depending on the offense. Don't classify all police officers as bag guys because of a select few.

...AND so were your 1 sentence replies earlier towards me and NOSTROMO.

What gave you the right to come on here and chastise us for being victims of rogue cops? You sit there and defend them stating that their actions were probably justified. Oh really?

So, what I did was point out that you're a hypocrite who deserved to be embarrassed for opening his foul (sorry, no pun intended) trap in a public place. We on here do not deserve your spiteful attitude. Maybe next time you'll put some thought in your posts that offer nothing more than smartass replies.

So how does it feel? You wanna make up w/ each other now? I'm extending my hand to shake yours. If you shake mine I'll give you a hug, then we can have 1 big happy group hug. NOSTROMO, how you feel about this?

So whaddaya say?

blah blah blah

bottom line is there are good cops and bad cops. I have members of my local police that come in my shop and i shoot the bull with all the time, but lord knows the other half of the squad can be a bunch of ******. People with power love to abuse it at one time or another. You watch tv and watch C.O.P.S., watch how many people that get pulled over are nitwits. I mean, you can't paint everyone with the same brush, but after a while, you hear one sad story, you heard them all and all the situations are the same. I'm not a cop, nor do i like them much, but with some of the nitwits on the road.....sometimes i wish i were a traffic cop!!! Even pull over other cops. When i first got my explorer last year, i went off the highway on this back road and kinda tried to see what it could do, so i punched it. After i got to to 60 i slowed to a normal pace and i saw this car on my *** trying to pull around me. Friggen car had no lights on and was pulling up beside me. Hear i am pissed off to no end and just was i was about to run him off the road, he pulled up and flashed his blues......it was a statie, running with no lights. I let him buy and he took off. I couldn't get his car number or plate number or i would have turned his *** in. Immagine running a cop off the road.

Did Mr. Hog teach you no manners lil one? Surely Mrs. Sow would bitch-oink you if you talked like this to her.

Definitely an attitude of someone the general public needs enforcing laws and watching over us. Then again, you're just a wannabe. I bet you rent-a-cop at the local grocer.

BfB, Thanks...This really should be a fun place to pick up good tips & make good friends. I wonder if fast54triton's dad, ( a fellow brother officer) knows just how he feels about the law enforcemment community....take care, Gary
