Hey, all Raoul needs is decent weather and he's into the 15's bone-stock! I'd be willing to bet he can rip off a 15.9 in the fall pretty easy.
Of course, *your* truck can probably rip off a nice mid-14 second run in the fall as well.

Hi everyone!
I have been getting a kick out of this thread for the last few weeks now and thought that I would share an experience.
My friend and I were on our way back from a movie the other night and I talked him into racing against me so I could see first hand the benefits of my newly installed Superchip.
We had raced many times before and so I knew exactly how much faster, unfortunately, his V-6 mustang was. In past races, I would always get a LITTLE lead up to about 40mph when he would shift into senond gear and simply take of in front of me and keep on going. But with the new Superchip it was different!
We both pulled up side by side at the first red light we found. As soon as the light turned green we both gunned it! As we accelerated I started to pull away slowly. Then, as soon as we got up around 40mph, the mustang shifted into 2nd, lurching forward instantly closing the gap I had worked so hard for. After that he just kept pulling away and I gave up. The chip seemed to help a little but not enough.
At the next red light we again stopped next to each other. I looked over to see my friend's very satisfied grin when I noticed that he had his windows down; now in Phoenix, AZ that is unusual! That's when I realized that I had had my A/C on. DOHHHH. I turned of the air and then yelled to my friend to race again. As soon as the light turned green we both nailed it again. I was pulling away from a bit quicker than before but not by much. Then when we shifted into 2nd gear, him before me, he only caught up to about my tailgate. We kept on accelerating and he started toinch his way up next to me. By the time we were going 80 or 85 he was right next to me. We kept on going to about 120mph until he let of the gas and I did the same, at which time my front bumper was about at his rear bumper.
My spedometer doesn't even go up that high so he had to tell me what we had gotten up to.
The chip definately made a big (within reason) difference! Victory or Defeat? You decide. All I'll say is now he's buying a Superchip!

Hi Let's Go,
Great story!
Glad to hear you did a good job of holding onto that Mustang with your big truck once you got the Superchip installed, that's funny! No ownder the Mustang now wants the Superchip.
Of course you're also fighting aerodynamics once you get up to speed in the truck versus that Mustang, so I'm not surprised by him getting you from 80-85 mph on up. Sounds like your F-150 did a heck of a job!

Guys,
A few items all should be made aware of about Neal ....... his hp ratings and drag times are all in Canadian measurements.
So, if you know what the Canadian dollar is worth vs the US dollar, it's the same mathematical difference. Even his SuperChip went Canadian when it crossed the border..........

I ran across a reg. cab Dodge 5.9 R/T. I was behind him in the turn lane, he was watching me in his rear view, so I knew he wanted to run. So I reached down unlocked my converter and put it low. We turned the corner I got beside him gave the traditional nod of the head he responded and we both nailed the gas
we stayed side by side until 95mph, thats where I hit my rev limiter and we both got off the gas. Now this is not a kill but for a heavy ext. cab F150 it put one hell of a smile on my face.

HI!... Well guys I got two more victims tonight!
The first one was a woman in a "2000" MUSTANG COUPE, 3.8 LITER, 5-SPEED. She looked to be about 30 years old. We were driving down WINDSORS's main drag next to each other. We were kinda playing with each other. Light would turn green, she would accelerate fast. Next light I would accelerate fast. This went on for about 6 lights. She would never make eye contact with me, she was always looking straight ahead at each light. Well we finally got to a red light. I was in the laft lane and she was in the right. We were both at the front. I figure she is going to go full out when the light turns red, so I got ready to punch it. The light turned green and nothing! She accelerated normal with out looking over at me at all. I left the light at a normal speed. After this particular intersection there is about a little more than a 1/4 mile of flat paved road. Then there is about a 6 story, 45 degree inclined overpass and then back down to another intersection. Well when I was about half way to the hill, she was about 10-12 car lengths behind me. I kept an eye on her in my rear veiw mirror. Then all of a sudden I looked back into my rear veiw mirror and she was only about 5 cars behind me and coming on at full speed! I imediatly dropped it into 2nd gear and went to FULL power! At first I held my ground, and then I started to pull away from her quickly. I have to give her credit, she never let off. At about 90mph I hit the bottom of the hill. The time I got to the top of the hill I was going about 112mph! I love this truck! All that torque just rammed me up that hill, it's like it did'nt even know it was there. Well the time I got to the bottom of the hill, she was just cresting the top. I guess that 3.8 V-6 just does'nt have the torque to climb big hills at that speed!LOL! I stopped at the red light at the bottom of the hill. I think she did'nt want to face me so she got in the left turning lane and turned. The road she took eventually meets up with the road that I was going on, but about a mile away. Light turned green and I went through the right hand curve , and could see her flying around the other way trying to get ahead of me. NOT! She merged into my lane and I was right next to her. Well we got stuck at another red light next to each other! I think she knew she did'nt stand a chance from a dead stop race. The light turned green and she left normal. I guess it takes some people a little longer to learn not to mess with the "FREAK"!LOL!
The 2nd "victim" was a young kid in a souped up "99" COUGAR V-6?, AUTO. This was about 15 minutes after the run with the MUSTANG. This young kid was riding my a$$ for about a mile and a half! I guess he thought he had something to prove.lol! Well I got up to the intersection I wanted, and got into the right turning on ramp. He did as well, still riding my a$$! Well as soon as you turn this corner it is an imediate 45 degree climb up a 8 story overpass. I then proceeded to turn right. As soon as I got straight, I dropped it into first and punched it! He floored it as well! I hit 2nd gear with a gigantic chirp and powered my way up the hill. At the top I hit about 85mph. The COUGAR was about 8 truck lengths behind me at this time. At the bottom of the hill I was around 120mph and was on the way back up a smaller hill to an intersection. The time I stopped for the red light, the COUGAR was just at the bottom of the 1st hill! He had soething to prove alright! THAT HE WAS SLOW!lol!

Just another night in Windsor, eh Neal? Sounds like you & the lady had some fun playing. By the way, starting in the 1999 model year that "little" 3.8 Mustang packs 190 horsepower bone-stock, and will run easily in the 15's in the 1/4 mile right off the showroom floor, which is why she did as well as she did, and should give you an idea of how quick your truck is now.

HI!... Well guys I got one more "VICTIM" tonight around 2:30A.M.
It was two young kids in a "99" S-10 EXTREME, REG-CAB, SHORT BOX, 5-SPEED, 4.3 LITER "VORTEC" V-6. They kept flooring it at a few lights when I was next to them. We both turned a left corner on to a long straight road. As soon as they turned the S-10 floored it. I turned and accelerated normal up to about 45mph. After a short burst the S-10 let off and was cruising at about 35mph. I was creeping up on him very slowly. As I got next to him he down shifted and tried to take off on me! -NOT!- I dropped it into 2nd gear and went to full power! It was like racing a nun on a bicycle!LOL! Those trucks are pathetic! The time I hit 120mph the S-10 was so far back it was funny! And you know what I laughed!LOL! I even turned off my radio and rolled down my window to hear his truck. He was still to the floor, I could hear him reving his way towards me. When he finally caught up to me at the red light that I had been stopped at he yelled out to me that he had MISSED a shift! I yelled back to him " IT WOULD'NT OF MATTERED ANYWAY, TRUST ME"! The light turned green and I proceeded to smoke his A$$ once again!LOL!
