I agree... Killing thousands of innocent is not going to advance the cause of your religion, nor will it advance the cause of religious tolerance... If anything it will do the opposite.

Any religion that preaches the hurting and killing of innocent people in order to advance it's values is not a valid religion in my view so it does not warrant any form of tolerance or special consideration.

Palestinians, Iraqis rejoice as world watches in horror

(London-AP) -- Palestinians and Iraqis have been rejoicing even
as the rest of the world watches the images of horror from the U-S.
Thousands of Palestinians danced in the streets of Nablus to
celebrate this morning's terror attacks in Washington and New York.
It happened even as Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat expressed
horror over the attacks.
Iraqi television played a patriotic song that begins with the
words "Down with America!" as images of the World Trade Center's
towers falling played across the screen.
But reaction elsewhere in the world has been that of shock and
horror.
One man in Nigeria says -- quote -- "If this can happen in
America, then the whole world is not safe."
Leaders from Great Britain to Egypt have condemned the attacks.
Police in Paris, Moscow, Warsaw, and Berlin are all on high
alert.
Many nations have beefed up security at U-S embassies.
Israel has evacuated staff from diplomatic missions and Jewish
institutions around the world.

I'll be the first to admit, that I"m not a highly religious man, but my deepest sympathy and prayers go out to the innocent men, women, and children, that were injured or killed today. This is horrible, and I sincerely hope that something is done about it! I'm on brake now, but working for the L.A. School District, we've been getting hundreads, upon hundreads of calls in our offices to see if the school is shut down, or what's happening. Kids have come in my office crying to go home, or worried about their family. Not to mention the hundreads of students that have been taken out of school early, due to parents being scared.

The Crusades, don't people ever learn from history.

This whole thing is a huge tragedy that never should have happen. And things are gonna get worse. Like RT said, there are going to be tons of Muslims in the US that are going to get hurt just for their religion and who they are, no one will care if they were involved or not, or if they agreed with what happen or not. It's the way things work.

Return the favor

Wow, that's insane that they could celebrate such a tragic loss of human life like that.

If they like the videos so much, I say let's make it happen for them up close and personal in real-time. Flatten Palestine. Terraforming in the 21st century. Glass and winter from horizon to horizon in the Middle East. Make it low yield too so we can have a nice flat land to build our refineries and military bases.

Pearl Harbor's vengeance was delivered by Bockscar and Enola Gay. This seems as good a time as any to reinforce that lesson, especially to such blatantly disturbed people as those in Nablus. Melt the bastards in the street while they celebrate!

Martyr I am with you!! Nuke first, ask questions later...

Anyone who would rejoice over such a disaster is a waste of space on this planet and should not be allowed to continue to waste vital natural resources!

I LIVE in NY!! How do you think I feel?! I was even near the site when it happened. Just saw a plane in the air...looked back on the road, heard something crash...then I realized it crashed into the WTC!!!

That **** was the scariest thing in my life. People said they saw body parts, people being crushed, screaming for help....Im just glad that I wasnt IN the building at the time.

I thnk anyone who would even THINK of doing this is F*CKING SICK! Not only did it kill 90% + of the people in the buildings, it killed EVERYONE on the planes (90 + people on each plane) and then you have the 2 crashes near and INTO the Pentagon.

F*CK YOU TERRORISTS!! I hope they crucify you and your mothers while everyone spits at you and pokes you with sharp objects!

B*TCHES!

(They think Bin Kalen or some gay name like that is responsible from Saudi Arabia or around there. Supposed to be a billionaire and responsible for a lot of other terrorist acts, hope he burns in HELL!)

By the way, a lot fewer people were killed at Pearl Harbor. This is an act of war, tens of thousands of AMERICAN CITIZENS are dead or injured!!! ON AMERICAN SOIL!!! We, AMERICA, has been violated to be viewed by the rest of the world!!! I say since we have to stop training in Puerto Rico, I think we have found a new training site!!! Do ya hear that, the sound of weapons warming up!!!

I am deeply saddened by todays events and would love to see these a$$holes brought to justice.

One thing to rememer, the U.S. will not be going to war because there is no one to declare war with. It was a single group of terrorists and all that can be done is to prosecute them when they are brought in.

It is not like the Pearl Harbor incident because a single country was to blame and we went to war with them and in this case there is no single country to blame.

I think we all need to count our blessings that we and our families are ok and also be thankful that we live in the most powerful country in the world!!!!!

Senseless violence against the innocent is an anathema to Islam as it is to other major religions in the world, including Christianity. This is an act of a fringe lunatic group, and should not be faulted to Islam and the Muslims in general, if indeed Bin Laden is determined to be responsible.

Such extremism, including extreme knee-jerk response, is an ugly thing. I think good Christians here would agree that throwing pipebombs at little girls going to Catholic school is against everything we stand for, but it was done only a week ago in Ireland.

This is a time for considered, methodical temperance, toward a swift, decisive and just retributive act.

As for Palestinians celebrating in the street: Unlike most of us here, I'm sure they all didn't have CNN feed to their home. All they know is probably something bad happened to the US, and US is a stalwart ally of Israel, their sworn enemy. Friend of an enemy is an enemy. I doubt they know the full scale of innocent lives lost.

How many devil dogs do we have on this site? Who else is still in the Corps besides me? Anyone else 'bout ready to kick some *** with me? We can trak a Lightning and throw some armor on it. Maby mount a 50cal or a 40mm grenade launcher. Might not be as fast but definatley as effective. As far as the m16/m14 arguement, I will kill f*cken anyone rejoicing with my e-tool if it comes down to it
