14,000 miles since April 28.
I can't stand it when I'm driving a weaker car and a camaro or corvette go speeding by.

Rain or shine! I was even caught in a hailstorm once (no damage, thankfully). I mean, it's awesome and all, but it's still just a pickup.

Let's see - bought it (used) in June with 7,600 miles. Now has over 11k. I guess you could say my vote is "drive it!"

17,000 miles since March.

I have even been caught in a snow storm, that wasn't to fun. I have made quite a few runs at the track, blew away a few vettes.

It is running stronger every day, No problems, I love this truck.

This is what they are made to do

I just traded in my 2000L for a 2001L after I logged 22k miles in 16 months. I enjoyed the heck out of driving it. I must admit, I do miss the power mine had though. Oh well, modifying a new vehicle is half the fun!!

2000L 14.42@94mph STOCK 08/23/2000
13.34@104mph (factory tires) 20psi
89°, 78% humidity...I looove South Florida
Pro-m 80mm
AutoLogic Chip (UPR Products Tuned)
ASP Blower Pulley

2001L 14.38@95mph (20" 295/40/YR20) 09/05/2001
94°, 84% humidity...I looove South Florida (damn it was sticky)

I'm not afraid to drive my L. 32K miles in one year and two months in some of the most congested roads this country has to offer. I love it. LA has some of the worst and best of drivers, but if you give them an inch, they will hang you out to dry. Fortunately, it's hard to hang out a Lightning, seeing as they will out accelerate almost anything out there.

Like BAdAzz6516 says, sometimes you have to drive it like you stole it.

You bought it for a reason! Unless it's to sit around

I rack the miles up at about a 1/4 mile at a time.

I used to let my cars sit all the time and never enjoyed them. It won't lose a ton of value with more miles. I would say an average of a $1500 or so for some extra miles. I've lightened up a lot with my Lightning and drive it much more than my previous cars.

Picked my L up in May of '00. Currently have 6700 miles on it. Does that mean I'm afraid to drive it? Nope, it only means that I don't have to drive it unless I feel like it. When I do drive it I enjoy the hell out of it.
There is a '01 Ranger Edge in the driveway that is my daily driver.
