LOL..it was actually on RT.1 just South of the Air Base. And the funny thing was I was driving and snapping pictures as well. Of course this was done during light traffic.
But after about 4 blasts up and down the highway, I ran out of GAS because I am so BROKE......LOL

There a few here that do some Land Speed running, and have achieved those speeds, if not real close.....

Vin,
No problem....

I did the gears myself with help of a friend. We also went through the trouble of re-building the differential as well, and lack of a proper burnout was a tell tale sign that the rear was in need of one.
I bought the gears from www.jegs.com for under 200 bucks. It's tough to find them there, but if your persisitent, they will track down a set for you and ship them within a couple of weeks.

I have always felt that the 3.73's ARE needed for these heavy trucks, and yes they did help out in perfomance as well. Look at it this way.....FORD installed the 3.73's in the 01's for a reason.........wonder why?

As for posting, I have always been here, but sometimes there is not enough time in a day to post for me. And the 2 weeks that I didnt was mainly because I was swammped with PSP stuff, and also helping out the family with the restaurant, and also had my fiance` and her daughter move in then as well, remodeling the house....Yadda...yadda...yadda...you know the rest LOL

Vin,
Add 31 here on our CLASSIFIEDS has listed a set of used 3.73's for 120. I would bet you could talk him down a bit. I NEVER recommend used gears, but I just ran across them searching the ads.

Spiro,

Your boost gauge sure wasn't very far in the black, you must've been letting off when you took that pic.
