I've had mine up to 140 a few times on the highway.I wont hold it there long.I got 3 tickets the first month i had it and I get paranoid, even with 2 radar detectors and a bear finder.
To tell the truth,my azz starts to suck seat leather at that speed on the public highway.I think I have it out of my system now though.I dont feel the need to test her limits every time I drive it now.I'm pretty content just spanking everyones azz at redlights whenever they show attitude.

Now that would be a cool video to view, especially at that speed . Was it Nathan that had the "FLY-BY" video a year or so ago? Did a search, but no luck

Tape

at the last SilverState the nav and me made a vcr tape of the event pretty boring but every once in a while you can hear him yell out the speeds I think one or two of them are at 160mph.
Depending on how the truck handles now with the few aero mods that are done I might try for the magic 170 but if I get caught or they read this[SilverState people] I won't get my speed and will be DQed Stan
PS I am not crazy I do have a FULL Cage 2"dom,on board fire system and a 3 layer NOMEX suit and gloves.I value my life and the sport to much to give it a black mark!!

I was going to ask if that picture was taken while you were on your 11.40 pass at WFC but I figured that horse was beat to death so I left it alone... J/K

Yeah Spiro I figured that you would like that one!!

So are still selling your L? I bet once your L is gone you will miss it and want it back. From what JL tells me you and him have been racing for years so I doubt that just selling your L will get the racing out of your blood!

Barstow event

Stan,
What are the dates for the Barstow event? I'd like to put it on my calender. BTW, I know of a company that hopes to be involved in that event (see screen name for hint).

Yes, the L will be gone at the end of November. And it will be very hard to live without it, this truck means alot to me. I have met so many wonderful people over the years, that only makes it harder. Me and JL have had the best time any 2 drag racers could. But as YOU may agree (or not) with me, it's the right thing to do considering all the "political" hell this truck has put me through. And for reasons I would rather not talk about (and you know a few) here.
